Laila Dantas, DMD
Hi! I'm Dr. Laila Dantas, but my patients call me "Dr. Laila" or "Dr. D."
I love caring for children, particularly children with special health care needs. I find it truly rewarding to create a positive and comfortable dental experience. As a pediatric dentist, I realize that I am in a unique position to change the oral health trajectory of a child and set him/her on the path to a healthy smile. I strive to treat each child like I would treat family in a gentle, compassionate and kind manner.
A little more about me: I grew up just down the road in Northborough, MA. I graduated with honors in biology from Washington University in St. Louis. I continued my education at the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Dental Medicine where I graduated with honors and was awarded the Community Dentistry and Dental Public Health Award. I then completed a general practice residency at the Cambridge Health Alliance/Harvard School of Dental Medicine. While serving in the National Health Services Corps in rural Maine, I found my passion in caring for children, so I decided to continue my education at the University Of Connecticut School Of Dental Medicine in Pediatric Dentistry. I am a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and Massachusetts Dental Society. In my spare time, I enjoy yoga, spending time outdoors, Super Mario Brothers, baking, volunteering and playing the piano. I look forward to meeting with you and caring for your child.
Menachem Roth, DMD MMSc
Dr. Roth has been practicing orthodontics in the greater Boston area for the last 6 years. Originally from Toronto, Dr. Roth began his dental education at the University of Pennsylvania
where he obtained his DMD degree and then moved to Boston for his Orthodontic training at Harvard University where he also did a Masters in Oral Biology. Dr. Roth loves smiles and he loves seeing his
patients and their families smile during their visits to the office. His warm demeanor and sense of humor make the treatment times seem
even shorter than they actually are! Dr. Roth has integrated digital
technology into his clinical practice to help the efficiency and
results improve compared to typical orthodontics. He is also an Elite level Invisalign provider with a special designation as a Teen
Specialist. Invisalign clear aligners can be a wonderful alternative
to traditional metal braces and our office is excited to be offering
this treatment to our patients.
Dr. Roth lives in Brookline with his wife and their three young
children. He loves sports and the outdoors with a busy ice hockey and mountain biking schedule on the weekends. If you have not already met
Dr. Roth we encourage you to pop into the "ortho bay" to do so and if
you have any orthodontic related questions he would be happy to help!
